The History of Shamrock is amazing. I've found this out over the past 4 years while putting together the Centennial Book.

I chose the year 2010 as the original postoffice was established in 1910.

The book is almost finished, but still has room for more information. If you have past pictures, or family stories, or more you want added to the book, get in touch with me ASAP, I have to have all submissions by December 15th, in order to get them in the book.

Only a limited supply of books is being ordered. The only way to guarantee you will receive a book is to preorder one. The book is $30 plus $5 for shipping for up to 5 books. Some have ordered extra to donate to their local libraries. The following places already have books ordered for them:

The books will be shipped as soon as I receive them, pickup will be available at the St. Patrick's Day Celebration of 2010. Preorders need to be received by December 31st. Book goes to the printer on January 1st. If you do not preorder, any remaining books can be purchased at the St. Patrick's Day celebration in Shamrock.
